Another described being grabbed by someone who looked like they were in a period movie about the site and being told to "run for your life you stupid kid" and being shoved towards the tunnel exit. As they were exiting the tunnel, yet another student tells of seeing, in plain daylight, a soldier stepping on a land mine and then nothing.

This hotel is haunted with a man western clothing and a lady in and ancient empress suit who always lurks at the end of the story 8 corridor looking down the balcony, among others. Most are in ancient Chinese suits.

Over the years, hundreds of people have claimed that this highway is really haunted. Since 1978,many lives have been lost due to car accidents on that expressway. Ghosts are always to blame for the high death toll because they like to suddenly pop up in the middle of the road when people are driving, thus making them make really sharp turns to avoid them and then end up crashing. The ghosts of past victims can be seen on there at night and some drivers have even claimed that they lost complete control of their vehicle several times.
