This school is said to be haunted by a girl named
Linda Landy. Linda was walking home from softball practice one day, and
she was hit by a car and killed. She attended Smith Middle School in
the late 70's. If you look in the tinted windows of the library, you
will be able to see her walking around sometimes.

Linda Landy was the first friend I made when I moved to AZ in 1976. She was a year ahead of me in school but her brother was in my grade/classes at Smith Middle School. Linda was very pretty and she was very kind and nice. When she died almost everyone at Smith Middle was affected. I do not believe she haunting the school. She didn't die there. She was RIDING her bike when she was hit by a car.
