Back when the camp first opened, the campers would go camping at a large
flat clearing in thee woods. About 10-15ft from the area at which the
camper's sleep is a steep hill (about 80deg.), with a large creek at
the bottom. A boy known as Riley was found at the bottom of that hill
in the creek one morning after a campout. He was though to have slept
walked off the side of the hill. After his death a healthy cluster of
trees started to grow in one knot like tree. The tree now resembles a
throne, but what is weird about it is, the part you would sit on looks
like a face(said to be the devils throne).

thats not the story i heard i heard this from a counsler there. riley was camping with his friends and they dared him to touch it and he did and that night when they went to sleep one of his friends woke up and saw riley was gone so he went to look for him. he saw riley standing at the edge of the cliff and he wouldnt respond to his friends call to his name. his friend went to wake up the rest of them and when they went to see him riley leaped off the cliff. the next day his friends went to the tree and it had a face on it. now none of the councelers let u touch it or even go near it. one person i know touched it and a few days later a 50 pound rock fell on his hand and broke it. the counceler i heard this heard it from ONE OF RILEYS FRIENDS WHO WAS CAMPING WITH HIM AT THE TIME during alumni week. so its true.
