Properly called Jackson Ford Bridge, there are currently plans to demolish the bridge due to vandalism and decay making for a safety hazard. Of course if people start dying, that will just add to its reputation as a haunted spot, so possibly Darwinism should be allowed to take place here. There are several rumors as to why it is called Ghost Bridge by the locals, some say the eerie white mist that rises up from the creek also gave rise to the name, others claim a runaway slave was hanged from the bridge during the Civil War.
