The furnaces used to be an old steel mill that burnt over 50 yrs. ago. Many of accidents happened taking many lives, so it is said to be haunted by the workers who died there. If you visit the furnaces during the winter you can see foot prints, shadows, and things leaping from tree to tree, over 100 yard distance. As you go down the hill it gets much colder, until you get directly into the furnaces, and then you feel it get warmer. Many of nights the restless spirits will chase you out and give you a real fright.
If you are talking Reeds Furnace area, yup haunted for sure!
ReplyDeleteI got possessed by something evil there
ReplyDeleteThere is something evil at reeds furnace. When I was 20 years old me and a few friends went to the old railroad bridge at night and one of them went down and stuck his hands in the water. Shortly after he started throwing up and passed out. When he opened his eyes it wasn't him. It was completely black, just like you see in the movies. Then he started talking in a different language. It also got inside of me and I felt like I wasn't in control of my own body. I wanted to leave the car and walk into the woods. I wasn't in control of myself. Then I started throwing up. We were completely sober lol. This is a true story. If you want to find out for yourself go put your hands in the water after midnight under the old railroad bridge and see for yourself. There is more to this story but just wanted to give a brief description. I never saw or felt anything paranormal my whole life until then. I didn't even believe in the stuff. I am a true believer now. Tread lightly. There is forces in those woods that you shouldn't mess with. There was four of us there that night and this can be verified from each and everyone of them. The person it happened to at the begining he still isn't right to this day. Please be careful
