There is a bridge off Carver Mill Road in western Pickens County that at one time some 50-60 years ago used to be wooden, that crossed over Scarecorn Creek. Years ago, this couple drove across the bridge and it collapsed on them, thus causing them to fall into the creek below killing them both. The bridge now is paved and well supported. You can drive onto the bridge anytime at night and shut the car off and all artificial light(flashlights, headlights, cell-phone background lights, pager blinking red lights, etc.)must be shut off and wait patiently in the car and this black figure of an average size man will walk from the end of the bridge and to your car and look into the windows. If a woman is in your car it will most likely go to her first and will continue to examine your car. If you crank your car, without turning on your lights, and begin to drive off, the man will chase you until you are off the bridge. Then the ghost will disappear into the night. The ghost is there to try to scare people off the bridge so that they won't face the same fate that the couple did. BEWARE: The ghost doesn't always walk right to your car. Sometimes it just appears at your window and can scare you plum to death. It is best if you do this during a full moon so that there is plenty of "natural" light to see the ghost with.
i seen this ghost
ReplyDeleteIf the bridge is heavily supported then why is the "Ghost" still there?
ReplyDeleteI’ve seen the shit it’s real
ReplyDeleteI never seen anything thing but we got some knocking/tapping on the car. We went 5 days straight and the last day it was hitting our car hard and wouldn’t stop. We got scared and drove down a little to a pull off to chill out but it started again. We went back to the bridge to see if we could leave it there with the Lord’s Prayer. It started hitting the car so loud we just drove off. We drove to the Walmart in ellijay and it was hitting out car, trying to open our doors and wouldn’t stop. I called up my dad that knew someone that could save our car. Ever since the sage we haven’t heard it again.
ReplyDeleteWe went 5 straight night and we never seen anything. We did however get a tapping/knocking on our windows about the 3rd night. The 5th night got scary, as soon as we got on the bridge the knocking started with out turning the car or anything off. We got scared and I drove down the road a little to a pull off for all of us to calm down (there was 5 of us). I parked the car and it continued to knock and got louder. So we went back to the bridge to try to make it stay there with the Lord’s Prayer and it made it worse so I took off. We was driving down 515 headed back to ellijay and was still knocking and trying to open our locked door. I had to call up my dad too because he knew someone that could help. We drove down round too and had the car and all of us saged. After that we never heard of it again.
